I've awoke to a beautiful sunny morning today, and there is something about the warmth of the sun that always makes me want to break out into flower-powered, mod-squad insanity!

January 2013: Sweet Little Rock'n'Roller

I have recreated this outfit on numerous occasions. The shorts are just ugly enough that they look like they could be from the 50s. I'm not hugely into jewellery, but I find that often I can replace a cravat with a statement piece.

October 2012: Psychedelic Persuasion

I have a love affair with psychedelic paisley that started many years ago as a pre-teen op-shopper.
There used to be a shop on Cuba St, Wellington, called Superfly. I would go there and spend my pocket money on garish 70s handkerchief tops, to later be ridiculed my my classmates.
Needless to say, the joy I experienced in those swirling patterns has yet to be subdued!
